Ian Dodds Consulting’s (IDC) Monthly Best Practice:Sep 2012
IDC joins leading multidisciplined law firm, Simons, Muirhead and Burton (SM&B) in launching Frith Street Consulting, a transformational change and HR consultancy
IDC has always specialised in helping organisations/firms, both in the private and public sectors, transform themselves to deliver business change strategies fast and sustainably. In this work we use IDC’s expertise in applying its Integrated Whole Systems Framework to optimise outcomes and ensure the changes are embedded and sustained. This drives fast and successful delivery by ensuring that:
1.The organisation is assembled to deliver the strategy effectively and efficiently.
2.Leadership behaviour is aligned with the strategy to drive its delivery.
3.The business processes are changed to embed the new strategy and sustain it.
The real performance benefits come from doing all of this in an integrated manner and underpinning the delivery with best practice, transformational change management methodology.
In recent years IDC has been much involved in helping its clients build inclusive cultures to obtain bottom line, or performance gain, benefits from more effective engagement within their diverse work and market places. We shall continue to offer leading edge solutions in these areas and currently have a number of projects of this kind in play with different clients.
However, IDC is now joining SM&B in launching Frith Street Consulting in order to provide transformational business consultancy services aimed at helping clients to develop and deliver strategies to: become more customer responsive; turnaround their businesses; reduce costs; outsource activities; create shared services; drive mergers and acquisitions (M&A); develop a transformational leadership capability to foster high performance, engaging cultures; delayer and redesign their organisations for cost reduction benefits; etc. This will enable IDC to use its core organisation and leadership development and transformational change expertise to provide a wider range of consulting services.
Frith Street Consulting, www.frithstreetconsulting.com , offers joined up business consultancy and legal services solutions to its clients. It sees itself as the consultancy of choice for clients wanting cost-effective, proactive advice and support on strategic and day-to-day business consultancy and human resource issues. Moreover, this joined up approach offers clients real value for money and a bigger return on the investment they make in such services. It does this by not only providing clients with best practice business and HR consultancy support in delivering their strategies; but, also, offering them cost-effective and proactive guidance on the legal aspects of the changes they are planning, e.g. outsourcing activities, TUPE requirements, redundancy selections and consultations, contract variations, M&A strategies, Equality Act requirements and internal investigations, etc.
We are not aware of any other joined up service of the kind Frith Street Consulting offers and are introducing it because, in the current economic climate, it is critical to ensure speedy implementation; particularly when boards and top teams are under pressure to deliver rapid financial gains and efficiencies. Transformational change and HR strategy delivery is not only faster but more effective when it is planned in an integrated and holistic manner and this inevitably includes the early assessment of legal liabilities and consequences.
We look forward to introducing you to Frith Street Consulting and to working with you to enable you to deliver fast and sustainable transformational change and HR solutions and in a manner which also avoids legal hassles.
